On July 31, 2021, the four (4) Trade Related Government Agencies (TRGAs) were successfully onboarded in the TRADENET.gov.ph system.

As a result, starting August 2021 these agencies will now accept online applications for the issuance of import and export permits from the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS), Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA), Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), and the DTI – Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB).

TRADENET.gov.ph, as the country’s newest National Single Window (NSW), is an automated and integrated licensing, permit, clearance, and certification system for regulatory agencies. It aims to connect all regulatory government agencies to make the trade facilitation processes interoperable and efficient.

Other agencies who are using the TRADENET system since 2020 are the following: Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB), National Tobacco Administration (NTA), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

BOC is encouraging all stakeholders to apply for their permits online using the TRADENET.gov.ph NSW System. The step-by-step process on how to apply for a TRADENET account can be found here http://info.tradenet.gov.ph. The TradeNet User Access Form can also be found under the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Section of the BOC Customer Care Portal using this link https://client.customs.gov.ph.

The TradeNet Project Management Office (TPMO) is working closely with the Bureau of Customs and the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on the mandatory onboarding of other TRGAs in TRADENET.gov.ph to effectively implement trade facilitation in the philippines. It is through these coordinations and outpour of knowledge that the National Government can create an ironclad, whole-of-government approach, generate more investments and improve ease of doing business.
