The TradeNet platform as the Philippines’ National Single Window (PNSW) aims to extend its implementation to facilitate trade efficiency, improve the level of predictability, promote transparency and manage risks to enhance the country’s competitiveness and participation towards economic integration.
The TradeNet Platform continues its implementation and exchange of electronic Certificate of Origin (eCO) with other ASEAN Member States (AMS) through the ASEAN Single Window. Currently, the Bureau of Customs(BOC) is preparing for the implementation of ASEAN Customs Declaration Document (ACDD) and is still in the process of developing a system. BOC has reached out to USAID for support to help in the development of this system which is intended to be integrated with the TradeNet Platform to complete a full exchange of ACDD with the other AMS. They have projected that the ACDD system will be ready by the end of the first half of 2021.
