In 2022, the Electronic Certificate of Origin (eCO) shall include a “Common Header” in the document exchange, which will allow for the eCO and other documents to be exchanged harmoniously in the ASW system. The major update shall also allow respective NSWs of each country to identify and route the document to its intended receiving user and/or agency.

The ASEAN Customs Declaration Document (ACDD) has passed testing with the Common Header in the ASW test environment. Testing in the Production Environment is projected to proceed with the Live Operations in December 2021.

The e-Phyto document shall be developed and deployed in the ASW ecosystem in 2022.

The DICT and DOF are continuously in coordination with the developers of TradeNet in order to comply with the required changes of the eCO in order to continue Live Operation from 2022 onwards.

End.
